    Geoenvironmental Engineer – Ground Investigation Team. Salary: £28-£35k plus overtime

    The role

    We are seeking a driven, Geoenvironmental Engineer to join our Ground Investigation team. You will be part of a dynamic team undertaking a wide variety of projects, delivering high quality ground investigations and providing innovative and sustainable solutions in aspects of geotechnical and environmental consultancy. You will be responsible for projects from instruction through to report delivery, liaising with clients, project managers, regulators and the broader project team.

    As a Geoenvironmental Engineer, you will be based from our head office in the Northamptonshire countryside, with your time split roughly 50/50 between sitework and the office. As part of the role you will be required to travel to sites across the country as necessary. Travel to site is either in company vehicles or by rail, with travel costs (including overnight stays) paid for by the company.

As well as mentoring junior engineers, we actively encourage CPD and you will be supported to work towards relevant charterships or accreditations to support your areas of interest and specialties as they develop.

    What we need from you

    • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within the field
    • BSc (2:1 minimum) in Geology, Environmental Science, Geography, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within the field
    • Experience of siteworks and interpretive report writing
    • Strong organisational skills, team ethic and a pro-active attitude
    • Full driving license
    • Expect to sit the necessary courses, medical, drug and alcohol screening tests as required
