Infrastructure is all around us and is essential for society to function. At Soiltechnics, we strive to provide sustainable solutions for a number of Clients across a range of sub-sectors. For instance, roads, airports and energy.
We have recently been integral in a number of projects on the A47, as part of the Strategic Road Network wider improvements. We supported the extension of the road into a dual carriageway as well as the construction of a new roundabout on an arterial route through Cambridgeshire. The projects involved several of our services including ground investigation, laboratory testing on samples, and long-term groundwater and ground gas monitoring. Our proactive approach on this project was highly commended by National Highways Regional Delivery Directors. This made it one of our most successful infrastructure projects to date.
