Soiltechnics provide a range of waste related services to the green economy. From, supporting developers in reducing their environmental impacts and meeting necessary legislation, to working for resource management companies in providing recycling and resource facilities.
It is important to have an accurate and detailed understanding of your potential and actual waste streams including their classifications. We routinely provide advice to our Clients at the early stages of any project as this can reduce uncertainty in cost planning, ensure regulatory compliance, and keeps hazardous disposal to a minimum.
Additionally, we work with contractors to minimise landfill disposal through the reuse of site-won materials. We consider the off-site transfer of surplus soils to other schemes or Soil Treatment Facilities to further minimise disposal.
A recent project where we offered waste management was at Linglongs, a residential development in the Derbyshire hills. We took a proactive approach there, which helped identify challenges at an early stage, which we were then able to manage, reducing cost, as well as waste.
"Vision Survey have worked with Soiltechnics for several years, initially forging a strong working relationship with their Manchester office, which has since expanded to include our respective southern offices. We appreciate their excellent professional conduct, their collaborative working approach and ultimately, in knowing that we can rely on them to meet our requirements."
"I thoroughly recommend the expertise of Mark and the team – trustworthy and valuable advice in a quick timeframe for my project.”
“Just wanted to say that I was very impressed with the site team this week. The site engineer showed great leadership on site, delivering the works on time, and kept us updated with daily diaries and updates throughout. The engineer also promptly provided me with certifications for all of the drilling rigs and equipment the guys were using without me having to ask for it, which isn’t typical of all of our subcontractors!”
