Foundation Assessment
Every building or piece of infrastructure will interact with the ground and therefore foundation selection is of critical importance. We provide recommendations on the most suitable form of foundation, from shallow pads to deep piles. We can usually give an early indication at the desk study phase, which allows us to target the ground investigation.
Following the ground investigation interpretation and taking account of the anticipated loads, we can then undertake
- Bearing capacity and settlement calculations
- Raft analyses
- Pile capacity assessment
