The ground investigation and associated laboratory testing are complete but what does it all mean?
Our experienced geotechnical team interprets the findings of the ground investigation. We update the conceptual ground model derived during the desk study. We derive geotechnical parameters and assign these to each stratum in the ground model which will subsequently be used in foundation design.
In some cases, this can include the drawing of a geological cross-section showing the varying ground conditions across the site.
“I used Soiltechnics for some soil testing at one of my sites in Gravesend. Soiltechnics are an amazing company to work with, they are really good at communicating all matters clearly as well as being very prompt and always helpful. The way they set up quotes is great as it makes it absolutely clear what is and isn't included and what other options you might want to consider.”
“I approached Soiltechnics when a project I was working on needed an urgent soil contamination report. Fortunately, Soiltechnics made themselves immediately available and the quick turn around helped us avoid delays. Additionally, Soiltechnics were extremely helpful in explaining the technical aspects of the ground investigation and in helping us understand the potential site specific risks.”
“Having worked with Soiltechnics for ten years, they are considered a trusted member of our supply chain. Soiltechnics form part of the Willmott Dixon Consultant Consortia having successfully completed a robust selection process which highlighted their ability to perform with professionalism, value for money and safety."
